Rob Mowat

Prior to joining Black Cat I have worked for almost 22 years in two highly regarded Accountancy Practices in South Manchester, progressing through from Trainee to Client Manager running my own portfolio of clients of mainly owner managed businesses with Turnover ranging from £1m to £15m. I qualified as a professional accountant with the ACCA after completing an Accountancy and Finance Degree at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Throughout my career as an Accountant and Business Advisor I have always strived to give my clients the best possible service and ensure they receive excellent support and advice. At my previous role, I started working alongside Black Cat as part of a team of external advisors and I have always been impressed by the Directors’ drive and ambition for the business, evidenced by such dramatic growth in clients, surveyors and offices since the company opened.

I am thrilled Black Cat chose me to be their first Finance Director and extremely excited with what we have achieved together so far; the team here are fantastic and directly contribute to the company’s success.
